It was established by Reverend (Mrs.) Victoria Arinola Ajayi in memory of her mother \u2013 Mercy Yewande Kolawole \u2013 who died on May 6 1946 \u2013 2 months to the Founder\u2019s 16th Birthday. Pink \u2013 the favourite colour of Mercy Yewande Kolawole \u2013 is the school\u2019s primary colour.
